This article examines the escalating stress surrounding the U.S. college admissions process that seemingly fosters unnecessary anxiety among families. Despite the undeniable benefits of a college degree—such as increased lifespan, happiness, health, and wealth—the current admissions landscape has transformed universities into exclusive entities.
