In them, OpenAI showed GPT-4o translating speech in real-time, solving math equations, and attempting to detect human emotion from selfies.

In one, the chatbot walked a user through the steps to solving a math problem after scanning the equation on paper, all while obeying the user’s command to avoid giving the answer away. There goes the tutoring business.
